...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 AM EST THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Minor flooding caused by excessive rainfall and snowmelt is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Maine, including the following counties, Androscoggin, Cumberland, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, Waldo and York. Portions of New Hampshire, including the following counties, Rockingham and Strafford. * WHEN...Until 845 AM EST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 443 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated moderate to heavy rain with temperatures at or above 32 degrees. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen, some of this in the form of snow which is melting. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... With many storm drains likely covered by snow banks, water is likely to pool on roads, sidewalks, and other low lying areas. Motorists are urged to use caution this morning.
