GENERAL ELECTION & MUNICIPAL REFERENDUM ELECTION

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2024

Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Jefferson Village School, 48 Washington Rd.

ELECTION WORKERS NEEDED!

Town of Jefferson is in need of Jefferson residents who are interested in working on the November 5, 2024 election. Interested parties can submit an Election Worker Information Form via email at [email protected] or by calling the Town Office no later than October 7, 2024.

The Election Worker Information Form can be found in FORMS & PERMITS under Election and Voting Forms.

Absentee Ballots may be requested by:

  1. Stop by the Town Office, and fill out an application
  2. Stop by the office and Vote in Person (available 30 days before election day)
  3. Call the office and request a ballot be sent by mail
  4. Online at http://www.maine.gov/cgi-bin/online/AbsenteeBallot/index.pl

**Ballots will be mailed once received, 30 days before the election**

 Beginning February 1, 2024, voters who will be at least 65 years of age by the next election or who self-identify as having a disability may apply for ongoing absentee voter status. A voter who qualifies will automatically receive an absentee ballot for each statewide election, municipal election and any other election for which the voter is eligible to vote and need not submit a request for each election. Voters must return completed form to their municipal clerk.
