NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Board of the Town of Jefferson will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, the 24th day of September 2024 at 7:00p.m at the Jefferson Town Office in said Town to discuss the proposed Solar Farm Ordinance and amendments to the Building Ordinance to be voted on at the General Election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at the Jefferson Village School from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., by posting a copy of said notice at least seven days before the hearing at conspicuous places in said town: the Jefferson Market and General Store, NC Hunt Lumber, Peaslee’s Quick Stop, JJ’s Variety & Garage, Jefferson Town Office, and Town Website.

In the event the Town Office occupancy limit is exceeded, the Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Jefferson Village School.
